Sand in my pants

Australia played woefully against Ireland last night. Awful, ugly, unwatchable rugby, apart from the biffo. After planning to have a quiet night in attending to personal grooming issues, I instead went to Aussie Legends (which is nothing like anyone's local back home) with my Irish housemate to watch the game. The butter chicken was yummy, the beer was cold, the Australians played like a pack of bozos, two got sent off, they never once looked like coming close to scoring a try and Ireland thoroughly deserved to win. But I still maintain that the All Blacks will win the 2007 World Cup. After not winning it since 1987 and peaking precisely halfway between World Cups ever since, I think 2007 will be the year that they will do it again. Possibly against Ireland. Almost certainly not against Australia.

The Wallabies are a disgrace right now.
They are unfit, unskilled and uncohesive; excusable when they were amateurs but they get shitloads of cash for playing these days and they are not delivering.
Sack the entire forward pack...the lazy fuckers...

I am still not able to discuss that ridiculous 8- minutes which our Wallabies called a "game of union", and the Irish deservedly called "a complete pisstake where we get to make the Aussies look as stupid as they are".

Plus, it's 80 minutes of my life I'm never going to get back... Bastard sport.

Gosh Mel...do let us know when you're able to discuss the match.
Meanwhile, I'll alert Rugby Heaven and get them to leave their front page open...

There's a new editor on Radar - I'd noticed that Alan loser was doing other stuff recently?

It's Robyn doing the Georgia plugs anyway... in between writing letters to the Editor. From Raglan. What's her count now Georgia?

This is my way of commenting on a thread when I didn't even realise the Wallabies had played.

I filed a column for the new editor weeks ago on Ramadan. He never even sent me an email thanking me for it. Then Ramadan was nearly over so I wrote to him to let him know the column would be out of date in a week. He never replied again. Not terribly amused by that. Radar seems to be dying a death.
